Its safe to say the Gunners of Arsenal are firing on all cylinders.Arsene Wengers boys will take aim at an eighth straight victory over all competitions when they line up against Middlesbrough on Saturday at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners have generally been slow starters over the past few seasons, and those fears popped up again after losing a wild opener, 4-3 to Liverpool at the Emirates. But since that defeat, Arsenal (6-1-1) have been nearly unstoppable, unbeaten in 11 consecutive overall fixtures. Theyve won six straight in Premier League play following last weeks 3-2 result over Swansea City, which also spoiled Bob Bradleys English managerial debut.Supremely talented yet enigmatic forward Theo Walcott seems to have put things together early this season, as the England international has racked up five goals and two assists in league action to form a dynamic attacking trio with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil. That offensive power was on display against the Swans as Walcott netted a first-half brace while Ozil added a third goal.In addition to their fine league form, the north London outfit kept up their European success, earning a 6-0 Champions League victory over Ludogorets on Wednesday. For half-an-hour in the first half we were positive and forward-thinking and on another day we couldve won the game, never mind drawn it.We came out (of) the blocks quite well with a few half-chances and should maybe have taken a couple of them. In terms of play, we definitely deserved more on the day. Obviously, we havent scored many goals but were playing well, getting the ball wide and in the box. Theres another game on Saturday and were fighting for points.Despite the lull in form, Forshaw believes his mates will turn it around. Were all fighting for each other and I think its a matter of time before we start adding more points, he said. Weve just got to approach every game on the weekends and try to pick up points. Looking at the table does absolutely nothing for you, its what happens on the pitch and thats the main thing. These sides last met in February of 2015 in the FA Cup.
