People are talking about Kangen water and its numerous claims. It can be compared to a panacea with the breadth of its alleged health benefits. It should be noted that while alkaline water is backed with good evidence, it is also heavily criticized by many experts. The criticisms are based from theoretical assumptions, saying that alkaline water can hardly alter the chemistry or the pH levels of the human body. Nonetheless, good reviews of this particular liquid all over the internet seem to disagree with the scientific skepticism.
The good news is that no one actually says that liquid containing alkaline can cause adverse health effects. The proponents say that this drinking liquid is good for people suffering from arthritis, heartburn, headaches, allergies, high blood pressure, obesity, and gastrointestinal problems. All of these occur due to the acidic levels of pH that several substances contain. Tap water may have pH levels around 7, which is neutral. That is good, but they say it is better to drink water with a higher pH, which makes water more alkalized, meaning, it has the power to neutralize acids.
Alkaline water can be prepared in different ways. You can add an alkaline substance to the water to raise its pH, for example, adding baking soda to a liquid. There are products available in the market that can be added to water to have it alkalized. The result is you will get a simple preparation of alkalized liquid. A better way to get this liquid would be through the addition of ions through a process called electrolysis. This involves the use of a special machine that converts plain water into alkaline water. These machines are called Kangen ionizers. An ionizer can be installed beside the faucet and connected to it. When the faucet is twisted, water passes through the machine, which then alters the water and adds ions to it to make it alkaline.
One problem some customers encounter with these water ionizers is that they are expensive. The question would be whether the benefits offered by alkalized liquid are all worth its cost. Some people are willing to get the product, because they want safer and healthier drinking water for their family.
Why not settle for distilled water? According to some health experts, it is unhealthy to drink the distilled kind for the reason that it lacks minerals. It was speculated that distilled liquid will drain the body of minerals. It was even stated that drinking it can cause bone mass loss due to the leaching of calcium. However, this assumption is disproved by many scientists.
It seems the quest to find the healthy water has gone too far. As long as fluids are free from harmful chemicals and microorganisms, it should be safe to drink. There seems no point enhancing it further, like ionizing it to put minerals to make it more suitable and healthier for drinking. For some experts, it seems pointless to raise the pH level of water to 8 or 8.5. Alkalized fluids get neutralized by stomach acids. However, how can the reports of many people who have stated that they have witnessed the benefits after a long term consumption of alkaline water be explained?

Trust is formative in how you do your business. Your people will reflect your behaviours with them and at the end of the day, your customers and clients will be on the receiving end of the values of your business or organisation.
Where to start.
There are some simple things you can do with your people to ensure that they start to trust you. As a letter from Mike Emmott of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in the UK says, in April 2005's UK Management Today says:-
"Our surveys show that only one in four employees trust senior management to look after their interests"
Is that not appalling? How on earth can businesses develop, survive and above all hang onto their best people if they are seen to be untrustworthy?
It's horrible.
There is an article below which talks a little about 'Rapport Building', but to supplement that, here are Ten Tips to help you build trust with your people.
Keep Your Promises If you can't keep a promise, then don't make it in the first place - it is a big negative emotion being let down in this way.
Never Tell Lies Why would you? And if you have to, it's much, much more about you. Your people will really lose faith in you fast.
Keep Confidences Sometimes people will tell you things that they don't want broadcast - they need you to hear them sometimes. But keep it to yourself. Do not be the instigator of gossip and rumour.
Communicate as Fully as Possible Keep as little from your people as you can. Communicate as openly as possible. Sometimes you have to hold some information back - it happens, but think really carefully about it.
