EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants running back?Shane Vereens return lasted less than a half as he left Sundays 10-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys in the second quarter with a concussion.Vereen was activated off injured reserve on Saturday. He had missed the previous nine games after tearing his left triceps.The Giants were hoping Vereen could be a boost to their struggling offense with his unique skill set. He was being used as a passing-down back prior to the injury.Vereen was injured after catching a pass with just over 11 minutes remaining in the second quarter. He immediately went to the sideline and tossed his helmet.
