SPIELBERG, Austria -- Mercedes boss Toto Wolff says his team will consider implementing team orders from the British Grand Prix onwards after Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton collided for the second time this season in Austria. The Mercedes drivers made contact in Turn 2 as Hamilton attempted to pass Rosberg for the lead on the final lap of the race. Rosberg defended his position by running deep into the corner, leaving Hamilton with minimal space to go around the outside. The impact left Rosberg with a broken front wing while Hamilton continued without major damage to win the race. The Mercedes drivers also collided on the opening lap of the Spanish Grand Prix and Wolff said the repeat means team orders should be considered. In Barcelona I was much easier with it because we had 30 races without any collision, it was clear it was eventually going to happen, it wiped out both cars. From my na?ve thinking I said to myself Okay, thats it, theyve learned their lesson, theyve seen the consequences and its not going to happen any more. But here we go, it happens again. So the only consequence is to look at all the options available on the table, and one option is to freeze the order of a certain stage in the race. Its unpopular, makes me puke myself because I like to see them race, but if the racing is not possible without contact, then thats the consequence. The incident was subject to a stewards investigation, with both drivers protesting their innocence, but Wolff said he had his own opinion on the matter.I dont want to attribute any blame because every time you watch the video and you look at onboards there is new information, he said. You cant clearly say who is more to blame than the other. I have a personal opinion, and Im not going to express it here. As a matter of fact that needs to be avoided. We will make a decision irrespective of what they say. Its the core race team thats got to make a decision and it could go either direction. The outcome need to be that we avoid contact between the two cars, so everything needs to be on the table. Theres no going to be any what wed call in German holy cow, were going to look at everything. But with Rosberg struggling with a brake by wire issue and on faster degrading tyres, Wolff said the incident was not 100 percent clear cut.No, I dont think its that black and white. Nico was with a car that was handicapped, trying to brake later, and not on the line that was probably the normal line, and Lewis came from the outside, and this is where the first contact was made. So what Im saying is that it takes two to make contact.Ill put my head in a bucket of cold water - thats the next thing Im doing to do after this! The race is on next week so we need to discuss internally, with all guys involved, with how we want to manage a situation going forward when the two are close to one another. Jharkhand 9 for 0 trail Odisha 152 (Pattnaik 43, Nadeem 4-31, Gupta 3-56) by 143 runsScorecard Odisha were undone by a combination of lackluster batting and disciplined bowling from Jharkhand to get bowled out for 152 on the opening day of their Group B clash at the St Xaviers College Ground in Thumba.Saurabh Tiwary, the Jharkhand captain, made a surprising call to field under perfect batting conditions on a warm day with not a cloud in vicinity. But left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem and offspinner Sunny Gupta took seven wickets between them to snuff out Odishas resistance in 84 overs on a flat pitch. In reply, Jharkhands openers Anand Singh and Sumit Kumar saw off the four remaining overs without fuss.Odisha lost their wickets in almost equal installments across the first two sessions, but the manner of procession was different. Tiwary took out seamer Ajay Yadav after just two overs to bring in Nadeem in the fifth over of the day. The bounce on the pitch was mostly consistent; while the odd short ball did rear up, fuller ones were easy pickings given the complete absence of swing.Odisha went into a shell early with Sandeep Pattnaik and Ranjit Singh, their openers, exercising caution against pacers and spinners alike. They batted 27 overs for just 46 runs when the first breakthrough arrived through Nadeem, who extracted bounce from the good-length region to find the ouutside edge of Ranjits bat.ddddddddddddOdishas next three batsmen fell for ducks. First, Govinda Poddar, the captain, edged behind while attempting a cut too close to the body off Nadeem, who then fired a direct hit to send back Abhishek Yadav. Soon, left-arm pacer Vikash Singh had Subhranshu Senapati caught behind and Odisha were reeling at 48 for 4.While the first session had wickets falling to good balls, Odisha hastened the slide with poor strokes in the second. On a normal first-day surface that did not offer unplayable turn, Odishas batsmen showed lack of application.Biplab Samantray steadied the innings for over an hour, adding 36 for the fifth wicket with Pattnaik. Samantray did not hold back from expressing himself, crunching two straight sixes before perishing lbw to Gupta. Then, Pattnaik, the only Odisha batsman to have shown resolve, gave Nadeem the charge and for a catch to mid-off. More wickets followed with batsmen either trying to force the issue or failing to pick the length.Basant Mohanty and Dhiraj Singh went into a blockathon to put on a frustrating last-wicket stand of 32 runs that came off 23.5 overs, before Ajay Yadav closed out the innings by trapping Dhiraj lbw for 8 off 74 balls. Mohanty was unbeaten on 17 off 75. ' ' '
