The team has signed three-time Pro Bowl free safety Jairus Byrd to a six-year contract worth a reported $54 million with $28 million being guaranteed. Last season, the Bills placed their franchise tag on Byrd and he agreed to a one-year, $6.9 million franchise tender in August.
